GOOD GREIF CHARLIE BROWN!!!!!! It's JUNE already and the calendar is so full of fun activities for the rest of the summer and even clear into fall! If you are traveling this summer please drive carefully and come join us when you can!
Have you sent your check in yet? Wondering why you haven't received your Corvetter? June is that time of year to renew your membership to the SHCC for another full year of fun, so please mail in or give your checks at the next meeting to Janet or Don so you don't miss out on any of the good times!
Okay, Okay, a small report on the Caribbean Cruise! It was a blast and what I can tell you is "What happens on the ship, stays on the ship!" I know a trip is already in the works for next year and who knows where that fun destination will be, but anytime a group from the SHCC gets together it's gotta be fun!!!!

Space City Cruisers had an excellent car show down on Nasa Road 1 at the park on the bay with over 70 cars in attendance. The SHCC did ourselves proud in the trophy department and if someone (we won't say any names here, Davis) would have been paying attention to the tickets being called to win Astro tickets and the 50/50 pot, they would have won a great time at the Astra's game and a lot of money!!!!! Oh well, you snooze you lose!!
Another Huge Road Trip is in the Works for this summer! Rick and Lynn DiGiovanni have put together a Colorado trip for the last week of July thru the 5th of August. Lynn has done a fantastic job in doing the route to take, plus making all the hotel arrangements, but the highlight will be traveling the old Route 66. If you are interested please contact them ASAP!!! This trip is open to SHCC club members only.
It's not to soon to be booking a room for "The Fall Foliage Tour" for October 17/18/19th at The Fredonia Hotel in Nacogdoches, TX, so just call the reservation number 936-564-1234 to book your room at $85 per night and there are 40 rooms blocked under the SHCC name in several different sections of the Hotel. We will have all kinds of fun planned for this trip!
