Brunch starts at 10:30 am.
Historically we all meet at a location and then we head to a destination with pit stops along the way. Many times members have a journey just to get to the meeting place. Here is your opportunity to PICK YOUR OWN starting point! Yes, the choice is yours on which location you plan to start your drive-n-eat from. We all will be leaving from the same place but different locations......Home Depot.
There will be an EAST side leaving from 20360 Hwy 59 N. Humble,
the WEST side will be leaving from 21530 TX-249, Houston (Just north of Louetta Rd),
and the NORTH side will leave from 19103 I-45 N at The Woodlands.
We all have nearly the same driving time so with that in mind we can all still leave together at the same time.
Who will lead these drives? I really don't care... draw straws, flip a coin, do whatever,
we are adults, figure it out. The key is to leave at nearly the same time and enjoy each others company along the way whether it's one car or fifteen. There will NOT be any pit stops so don't load up early on intake cause what goes in eventually comes out. The starting time to have wheels rolling is 9:30 a.m. so you may want to arrive at 9:00 a.m. and organize. I will need a representative to call me and tell me how many people are in each group prior to leaving so that I can call the yacht club in advance just to give them a head count.
They are expecting us around 10:30ish.
The destination is the Walden Yacht Club for brunch and what would be more fun that all arriving at the same time and then sharing your experience over brunch. You won't be disappointed with the atmosphere or the food and it's a buffet. There is a preferred attire and this will be one of the rare occasions you will see the president of the club in long shorts and tied shoes in a nonworking environment.
