Lunch – Drive – Tour
Saturday, January 8, 2021, following the monthly SHCC meeting, you are invited to have lunch at Hasta La Pasta, located one block from the meeting. We have a dining room reserved for 12:15 pm. Pricing for your choice of soup or salad, one of three entrees, and non-alcoholic beverage, is $20 per guest, plus gratuity and sales tax. YOU ONLY NEED TO REGISTER ON THE CLUB WEBSITE FOR THE CISTERN TOUR, NOT THE LUNCH.
After lunch we will have a 35 minute drive to Buffalo Bayou Park for a 30 minute docent-led historical tour of the 94 year old Houston Cistern. Cost of the private group tour is $7 per person and will start promptly at 2:30 pm.

After the first 30 members register, a waitlist will capture your information. IF an additional 30 members register on the waitlist, I’m told I can arrange for another tour starting at 3:00 pm, but the deadline for this is January 3rd.
* Children under the age of 9 are not allowed on Cistern tours.
* Everyone is entering the Cistern at their own risk. You and your group are required to wear a mask during the tour and use hand sanitizer before entering.
