Drive & Movie

"Oh, the weather outside is is frightful...
so let's go to The Star Cinema
instead of a Drive-In."

When: Saturday, February 25th

Time: The exact time and movie will be sent out on the phone tree & Email, the week of the run.

Meeting Place: We will meet at the Lowe's, Tomball, FM 2920 & Hwy 249

Come join us for a short run through the woods as we head out to the Star Cinema & Grill in Conroe. The Star Cinema is part movie theather - part Restaurant ... and all fun. Watch a movie and enjoy your favorite meal with beer, wine, soft or mixed drink. We will not know what time or which movie we will see until a few days before the event. We should be leaving from Lowe's at somewhere around 10:00AM If you can't join us for the druve, come on out for a movie and some fun. Check back a few days before the 25th and we wil post the movie and time.

If you like to drive the "Hill Country" and spend time socializing with your fellow club members, this is the event you have been waiting for! 

Make plans to join us for a three day adventure to the Hill country of Texas for some of the best driving roads Texas has to offer! Get the time off from work now!! If you can only make one road trip with the club this is the one to make!!!!!

INN OF THE HILLS AT KERRVILLE contact RESERVATIONS AT 1-800-292-5690 TO RESERVE YOUR ROOM. Please let them know you are with the SAM HOUSTON CORVETTE CLUB to get the special group rate. Members will be responsible for their own reservation with a major credit card or an advance deposit. The hold on the block of rooms expires March 9th ; After the 9th room availability and price is not guaranteed.

 HOW TO GET SIGNED UP:

• Call hotel and make reservation for Friday and Saturday night. If you are unable to participate on Friday then just make your reservation for Saturday.
• Sign up on Trip sheet at club meeting or send RSVP to Email

• Saturday Night Dinner is $20.00 per person and must be paid for by the April meeting.

3. Arrive between 8:30 am and 8:45am so we can all be ready to leave by 9:00am SHARP!

CANCELLATIONS: "NO" refunds

No refunds will be made by the club for cancellations. Cancellations of room reservations are between the individual club member and the hotel. Normally cancellation of a guaranteed reservation must be received 24 hours prior to the day of arrival to avoid a no-show charge.

This is going to be a great three day trip west to Kerrville, Texas. The roads are just a blast to drive. There are lots of great curves, pretty country, smooth touring, and great food, so plan to join in for three days of fun!! DON’T MISS THIS TRIP!!

The Bluebonnet Run

 Meeting At: Schobel’s Restaurant, 2020 Milam Street, Columbus TX, Exit 696, I-10

Time:            9:00am, Wheels Turn At 9:30 am

Get there early and eat Breakfast at this great establishment. They have a Buffet or you can order from the menu, great homemade pecan pancakes. 
Come join the fun with us riding through the back roads of Central Texas.  This is a beautiful run up to Giddings, Bastrop, and Lockhart, ending up in New Braunfels at Clear Springs Restaurant, which those of you who where with us during the Fall Foliage Road trip know the great food they have.  Hopefully we will be seeing bluebonnets throughout the run. Please bring 2-way radios if you have them.
